The Problem

Lyssna (formerly UsabilityHub) is a leading platform for usability testing and user feedback, designed to help researchers and designers understand how users interact with their products and improve the digital experience.

Despite having a blog full of valuable content and industry expertise, Lyssna wasn't getting the organic visibility she deserved..

The main challenges they faced were:

Low organic traffic:

The blog wasn't generating enough traffic from search engines.

Poor SEO optimization:

Many articles weren't aligned with SEO best practices.

Platform limitations:

The blog was hosted on Medium.com, which restricted control over SEO and site customization.

Complex migrations:

During the process, Lyssna changed its brand and CMS platform, requiring a strategic migration so as not to lose traffic.

The Solution

To address these challenges, SEOTopSecret designed and implemented an SEO strategy in three phases:

A data-based optimization strategy was proposed to improve the visibility of the most relevant articles.

📈 2. On-Page SEO Optimization

They were optimized meta titles, descriptions, headings and content structure to improve indexing on Google.

Work was done on a better distribution of keywords in the articles and on an effective internal linking strategy.

The user experience was improved with a better visual and navigation structure.

🔄 3. Migration from Medium to Webflow and then to Storyblok

First migration: The Medium blog was moved to Webflow, ensuring that all content maintains its SEO positioning.

Second migration: After the rebranding of UsabilityHub to Lyssna, the blog was migrated again to Storyblok, ensuring a lossless traffic transition.

They were implemented 301 strategic redirects to avoid loss of authority and organic traffic.

Post-migration tests were performed to ensure that all URLs and content were correctly indexed.
